The law pays particular attention to the protection of children during and after their parents’ divorce. Children have the right to maintain a healthy relationship with their parents. However, in many cases, estranged parents tend to misrepresent each other to the child: this phenomenon is called parental alienation. When can a condominium be established?
A condominium can be established for an existing or to-be-constructed building if it contains at least two units that can be registered as separate ownerships, which can either be residential or non-residential premises. Any other parts of the building become the common ownership of the co-owners.
An amendment to the provisions of the Civil Code on the exercise of joint parental responsibility entered into force on the 1st January 2022, according to which the legislator allows the court to decide on joint exercise of parental custody and alternate custody even at the request of only one of the parents, provided that it is in the best interests of the minor child. We hereby introduce the most important aspects of the amendment.
